Sigora terminology
Terms used in the Sigora interface and Help Center.
| Term | Meaning |

| Base Template | The main signature frame selected for a sender. |
| Module | Reusable signature content placed in a slot. |
| Slot | A named place in a Base Template where matching Modules can appear. Default is the standard slot. |
| Template Assignment | A rule that assigns a Base Template to a user, group, or domain. |
| Module Assignment | A rule that assigns a Module to a slot for a user, group, or domain. It can be scheduled and ordered. |
| Draft | Editable template content that is not used for live mail. |
| Published version | Approved template content that can be used in live mail. |
| Microsoft tenant | A configured Microsoft connection used for verified domains and directory search. |
| Controller | The central Sigora service that manages configuration and platform administration. |
| Node | A Sigora service that processes messages using published configuration. |
| Attribute mapping | A value assigned to a user, group, or domain for use in a template. |
Use the current interface terms—Base Template, Module, Template Assignment, and Module Assignment—when configuring or requesting support. Older screens or release notes may use different wording. Follow the current labels in your deployed interface.
